**Job Title:** Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing
**Role Summary:**
Leads the development and scaling of Maesa’s sourcing function, establishing protocols, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships across packaging, raw materials, and formula sourcing. Partners cross‑functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Marketing to drive cost optimization, sustainability, and risk mitigation for rapid product launch cycles.

- Deliver strategic sourcing solutions that support global expansion, especially in Mexico and South America.
- Achieve sustainability targets (e.g., advance Ecovadis rating).
- Communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain high analytical rigor and attention to detail in fast‑paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and continuously improve sourcing protocols, procedures, and controls.
- Lead end‑to‑end supplier selection, qualification, and performance management.
- Negotiate and execute supplier contracts, including turnkey projects, aligning with Legal, Finance, and Operations.
- Drive value‑engineering and cost‑reduction initiatives to enhance gross margin.
- Expand sourcing beyond packaging to raw materials and formula verification in partnership with R&D and Regulatory.
- Support market entry and sourcing activities in Mexico and South America; Spanish language proficiency preferred.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless product launches.
- Identify sourcing risks, develop corrective action plans, and monitor mitigation.
- Produce analytical reports, vendor offer comparisons, and maintain supplier scorecards for leadership review.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong financial analysis, cost modeling, and negotiation capabilities.
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFs; macros, Power Query, scripting a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder management across functions.
- Supplier compliance and sustainability knowledge (e.g., Ecovadis).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑growth environment.
- Bilingual Spanish highly desirable.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Chemistry (chemistry background preferred).
- 8+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in beauty, personal care, pharma, or OTC sectors.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
