Job Title: IT Project Manager
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects, from requirement analysis and scoping through to production launch and hand‑over, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and security objectives are met.
Expectations:
- Own the full project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain rigorous oversight of risk, cost, and quality controls.
- Deliver transparent reporting and facilitate decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project scoping, needs analysis, and produce detailed specifications.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project.
- Coordinate development activities, monitor progress, and resolve impediments.
- Prepare for and lead user acceptance testing, validate deliverables, and implement change management.
- Produce regular status reports to executive stakeholders and lead project review meetings.
- Document lessons learned, finalize project closure, and transition ownership to operational teams.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in traditional (V‑model) and agile (Scrum, hybrid) project management methodologies.
- Experienced with project management and collaboration tools: Jira, MS Project, Trello, Teams, Slack, Confluence.
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk‑management capabilities.
- Solid understanding of IT security considerations in project delivery.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple concurrent projects, and drive results in a fast‑moving environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s (Bac+4/5) degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Professional project‑management certification preferred: PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum Master, ITIL.
