Job Description

Job title: Java Full Stack Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance data pipelines and microservices using Apache Spark, Scala, Python, and Java. Build clean, efficient APIs and integrate across systems while ensuring data quality and performance with SQL and relational databases. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, automated analytics solutions. Expectations: - Own end‑to‑end development of Spark‑based data pipelines and microservice architectures. - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code following best practices and industry standards. - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in production environments. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement distributed data pipelines with Apache Spark (Scala/PySpark) and Java microservices. - Develop and expose RESTful APIs for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics. - Optimize SQL queries and manage data models in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server. - Write unit, integration, and performance tests; conduct code reviews and refactoring. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune data workflows and service performance. - Collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, and DevOps to integrate solutions. Required Skills: - Strong experience with Java (8+), Scala, and Python (PySpark). - Proficiency in Apache Spark for batch and streaming data processing. - Deep understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Advanced SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Solid grasp of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to write clean, testable code and perform efficient debugging. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications such as Oracle Java SE Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Databricks Certified Associate – Spark (preferred).
