Job Title: Senior Salesforce Engineer
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Salesforce CPQ, to optimize business processes across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Engineering.
Expectations: Deliver scalable, high‑performance Salesforce implementations, drive architectural direction, mentor junior developers, and manage CI/CD pipelines while ensuring alignment with global technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy customized Salesforce and CPQ solutions for pricing, product configuration, quoting, discount approvals, renewals, subscriptions, and billing integration.
- Serve as a technical subject‑matter expert on Salesforce and CPQ technologies and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Build advanced customizations (flows, logic, custom metadata) and Lightning Web Components.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce (including CPQ) and external systems via REST, SOAP, and web services.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain high code quality.
- Lead and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset.
- Provide strategic input on platform optimization, security, scalability, and stay current with Salesforce releases.
- Mentor junior developers, promote best practices, and support cross‑functional teams.
- Document technical specifications and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of enterprise Salesforce development experience.
- 1+ year of Salesforce CPQ development (custom product/rule logic, quote templates, guided selling, advanced approvals).
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Triggers, Batch Jobs, Custom Metadata Types.
- Strong web technology skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON.
- Deep understanding of SOQL, SOSL, relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, AWS RDS).
- Salesforce DevOps expertise (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Copado, Gearset).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required).
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (required).
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist (strongly preferred).
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred).
- Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer or Development Lifecycle & Deployment Designer (preferred).
