Job Description: Job Title: Senior Data Analyst – Oracle & Billing Operations Role Summary: Analyze and optimize large billing datasets within Oracle databases to improve billing accuracy, drive process efficiencies, and support strategic financial decision-making. Expectations: Deliver data‑driven insights, maintain high‑quality data integrity, create actionable dashboards, and collaborate across Finance, IT, and Operations to implement billing process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Acquire, extract, and cleanse large billing datasets from Oracle using SQL, PL/SQL, Python, or R. - Perform statistical analysis on billing data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. - Design, maintain, and troubleshoot billing databases and data systems to ensure accuracy and performance. - Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) to communicate KPI metrics to stakeholders. - Identify business requirements, recommend system enhancements, and lead initiatives to streamline the billing cycle. - Document data processes, workflows, and compliance procedures in clear, audit‑ready format. Required Skills: - Advanced SQL and PL/SQL proficiency for Oracle database management. - Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation. - Strong statistical analysis and problem‑solving skills. - Expertise in Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation. - Knowledge of billing processes, invoicing, and payment reconciliation. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. - Ability to work with large, complex datasets and ensure data integrity. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field (MBA preferred). - Oracle database certification (optional but advantageous).
