AWS Connect Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, and maintain contact center solutions on Amazon Connect, integrating chatbots, routing, and external APIs while leveraging serverless and LLM technologies.
**Expactations**
- Deliver production‑ready code for Amazon Connect workflows, Lex chatbots, and Bedrock LLM integrations.
- Collaborate with architecture and API teams to ensure seamless integration with third‑party systems (e.g., JPMC API).
- Optimize routing schemas and contact flows for performance and scalability.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and manage Lambda functions (Python/Java/Node.js) that power connect logic and Lex chatbots.
- Implement Amazon Connect SDK and API interactions, including precision routing schema configuration.
- Design contact flows and integrate Bedrock, Bedrock Agent, and Bedrock AgentCore for advanced LLM capabilities.
- Develop prompt engineering solutions for Nova, Claude, and OpenAI models.
- Translate wireframes and design documents into robust codebases.
- Maintain and enhance AWS Lambda monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Work with cloud and container platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry) to support deployment and scaling.
**Required Skills**
- Deep experience with Amazon Connect and its SDK, Precision Routing, and API.
- Proficient in AWS Lambda using Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Hands‑on Lex chatbot development (Lambda, Lex API).
- Knowledge of Bedrock, Bedrock Agent, Bedrock AgentCore, and LLM prompt engineering (Nova, Claude, OpenAI).
- Strong understanding of contact flow architecture.
- Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
- Ability to translate designs into clean, maintainable code.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate) are preferred.
