Job title: Azure Systems Engineer Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure, blending IaC automation, hybrid‑environment optimization, and enterprise‑level cloud strategy. Act as the nexus between architecture, engineering, and client delivery, ensuring reliable, cost‑efficient solutions that align with business objectives. Expectations: * 5+ years of systems engineering or cloud operations experience, including 3+ years in Azure. * Proven track record of deploying and automating Azure services. * Strong communication and client‑facing skills. * Agile/Scrum proficiency and collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities: * Architect, configure, and deploy Azure compute, storage, networking, and security components. * Build IaC pipelines with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and automate deployments via GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Ansible. * Modernize, migrate, and containerize workloads (Docker, Podman, Talos) to Kubernetes on Azure. * Administer Azure Entra ID (AAD), SSO, and authentication integrations. * Manage Windows & Linux servers on‑prem and in the cloud; apply group policies and endpoint security. * Design and maintain enterprise network (Cisco, Palo Alto, VyOS) – VPNs, VLANs, DNS, firewalls. * Develop scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for operations automation. * Monitor performance and security with Grafana, Graylog, Wazuh, Uptime Kuma; enforce zero‑trust controls and encryption. * Lead migration roadmaps, implementation plans, and post‑deployment reviews. * Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. * Communicate design rationale and progress to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
