Job Description
Job title: Business Development Manager – Market Research & Patient Insights Role Summary: Drive growth of the Market Research & Syndicated Studies portfolio by securing new business, managing the full commercial lifecycle, and translating patient‐centric data into strategic insights for pharmaceutical clients. Expectations: - Deliver revenue growth and market share gains for the patient‑driven research offering. - Build and maintain strong, trust‑based client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for new and existing accounts. - Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, positioning it as a leader in patient‑centric evidence. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute go‑to‑market strategy for Market Research & Syndicated Studies. - Lead end‑to‑end commercial processes: lead generation, proposal creation, pricing, contract negotiation, and closing. - Identify and cultivate opportunities within pharma marketing, commercial, and business intelligence functions. - Translate client business questions into qualitative and quantitative patient insight studies. - Collaborate with internal research teams to design syndicated and ad‑hoc studies focused on patient experience, unmet needs, brand perception, and treatment pathways. - Provide commercial positioning, messaging, and presentation of study findings to clients. - Support the commercialization of the PatientLive solution and syndicated study initiatives. - Partner with cross‑functional teams (research, science, marketing) to ensure scientific and operational excellence. - Contribute to thought‑leadership content (white papers, webinars, abstracts) to enhance market presence. Required Skills: - Proven business development experience in pharma market research, business intelligence, or data‑driven consulting. - Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, patient insights, and syndicated research models. - Ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver persuasive client presentations. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project coordination skills. - Fluency in French and English (written and spoken). Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research, Public Health, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in market research or analytics are a plus.
