**Job Title:** Enterprise Network Architect
**Role Summary:**
Design, automate, and implement secure, scalable enterprise network solutions across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, driving network automation, standardization, and adoption of emerging technologies while ensuring alignment with client requirements and security standards.
**Expectations:**
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Minimum 7 years of network architecture/engineering experience.
- Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end network design and deployment projects.
- Strong communication and mentorship skills to guide internal teams and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Gather and translate business requirements into tailored network architectures.
- Assess and optimize existing infrastructure for scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Design, document, and present comprehensive network solutions for on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid settings.
- Lead implementation, ensuring compliance with design specs and best practices.
- Drive network automation using IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python, NetBox, Nornir, REST APIs).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network configuration and deployment.
- Create reusable architecture templates and standardize deployment processes.
- Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Mentor staff on automation tools, SDN, SASE, Zero Trust, NFV, and cloud‑native networking.
- Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root‑cause analysis.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, VPN, SD‑WAN.
- Expertise in network security design: firewalls, segmentation, access control.
- Hands‑on automation experience: Ansible, Terraform, Python, NetBox, Nornir, REST APIs.
- Integration of automation into CI/CD workflows.
- Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid connectivity.
- Familiarity with SDN, SASE, Zero Trust, micro‑segmentation.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and project management proficiency.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – required.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) – preferred.
- Cisco DevNet Professional or other network automation certifications – a plus.
