**Job Title:** Project Manager – NIHR **Role Summary:** Lead the end‑to‑end management of the NIHR Infrastructure Annual Reporting Programme, ensuring timely collection, review, and feedback of award holders’ progress reports. Liaise with internal NIHR units and external research partners to coordinate activities and uphold compliance with reporting standards. **Expectations:** - Deliver the full reporting cycle within set deadlines. - Maintain high data integrity and accurate documentation. - Build and sustain productive relationships with award holders, NIHR teams, and external stakeholders. - Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating strong decision‑making and influence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Project‑manage the infrastructure annual reporting cycle: plan activities, coordinate inputs from cross‑functional teams, brief stakeholders, and close the loop with feedback to award holders. - Develop and maintain reporting templates, SOPs, and workflows. - Support the team’s business planning, milestone tracking, and budget reconciliation. - Provide high‑level administrative and logistical support during peak periods. - Assist with additional ad‑hoc projects as directed by senior leadership. **Required Skills:** - Proven project‑management experience (planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement). - Excellent written communication: reports, SOPs, briefing notes, data summaries. - Strong analytical and data‑handling capabilities; proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks under tight deadlines. - Collaborative team player with capacity to influence and build relationships. - Familiarity with research funding environments, NHS/HEI project oversight, or related applied health contexts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s or PhD in biomedical/health sciences research or a comparable degree. - Equivalent sector experience may be accepted. - Formal project‑management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) is desirable but not mandatory.
