**Job title:** Sr. Salesforce Platform Architect
**Role Summary:** Lead strategic design, governance, and implementation of an enterprise‑wide Salesforce ecosystem across Sales, Service, Experience, and Life Science Clouds. Drive platform strategy, architecture, integration, data management, performance, security, and compliance to align with business goals and regulatory standards.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant Salesforce solutions for large or regulated organizations.
- Act as the authority on architectural best practices, standards, and governance.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, product managers, developers, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation.
- Mentor and coach technical teams, influence architecture decisions, and communicate roadmaps to stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define Salesforce platform strategy, blueprints, reference models, and roadmaps.
- Lead solution design sessions; translate business requirements into high‑quality technical solutions.
- Create and enforce standards for data integrity, automation, object relationships, and security.
- Review and approve solution designs; serve as design authority within Salesforce Center of Excellence.
- Collaborate with Cloud Operations on integration strategies; lead master data management and deduplication initiatives.
- Establish security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, SOX, etc.); monitor performance, scalability, and storage utilization.
- Develop environment, sandbox, and deployment strategies; support CI/CD, version control, and automated deployments.
- Provide coaching, technical mentorship, and influence resource planning, risk assessment, and project estimation.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years of Salesforce architecture, development, or solution design experience.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce object model, data management, and security architecture.
- Proficiency in integration techniques: REST/SOAP APIs, asynchronous processing, middleware orchestration.
- Experience with DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments.
- Strong command of enterprise architecture principles, data modeling, and governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Active Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect) preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare, finance) with validation and audit trail knowledge is highly desirable.
