**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer (Full‑stack / Backend‑leaning) **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade, data‑intensive applications and services. Drive technical decisions, lead project or system design initiatives, and collaborate closely with product teams to deliver outcomes that align with business goals. **Expectations:** - 5‑8 years of professional software engineering experience. - Proven ability to lead technical projects or small teams. - Product‑focused mindset, questioning “why” to ensure value‑driven delivery. - Entrepreneurial drive demonstrated through side projects, hackathons, or founding‑engineer roles. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and scale backend services, APIs, and infrastructure using TypeScript, Python, and Next.js. - Develop full‑stack features where needed, ensuring high performance and reliability. - Design and implement data pipelines and processing workflows for high‑volume workloads. - Lead architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring. - Collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate requirements into robust solutions. - Participate in on‑call rotation and incident response for production systems. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python. - Experience with Next.js (or similar React frameworks). - Deep understanding of building and optimizing data‑heavy applications/pipelines. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). - No specific certifications required; relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
