Leverage UI automation tools (Playwright or Cypress), API testing, and scripting in Java, JavaScript, or Python to ensure product reliability and performance. Expactations: • 3+ years of QA experience with a blend of manual and automated testing. • Proven proficiency in UI automation using Playwright or Cypress. • Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python for test script development. • Experience creating detailed test plans, executing manual tests, and automating API validations. • Ability to document bugs, report findings, and collaborate with development teams for bug resolution. • Continuous improvement mindset—staying current with testing technologies and process optimizations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop comprehensive test plans and cases aligned with functional and technical specifications. 2. Execute manual test scenarios, identify defects, and record findings accurately. 3. Design, implement, and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright or Cypress. 4. Script and run automated API tests for RESTful services, ensuring backend integrity. 5. Enhance and evolve the automation framework to improve test coverage and execution speed. 6. Report test results, track defects in defect management tools, and work with developers to resolve issues. 7. Perform mobile testing (manual and automated with Appium) when required. 8. Analyze test metrics, generate reports, and suggest process improvements. 9. Stay updated on testing trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills: • Manual testing methodology and defect lifecycle management. • UI automation with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent. • API testing and automation (RESTful services). • Programming/scripting in Java, JavaScript, or Python. • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and version control. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. • Experience with mobile testing tools (Appium) is an advantage. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. • QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation) are optional but beneficial.
