**Job Title** AI Research Intern **Role Summary** Assist in designing, prototyping, and testing AI/ML solutions that enhance autonomous IT capabilities. Work with data science and engineering teams to build models for anomaly detection, threat detection, and performance optimization on endpoint data. **Expectations** - Full‑time commitment (June 8 2024 – Aug 14 2025). - Current master’s or doctoral student in Statistics, Machine Learning, or related field (GPA ≥ 3.5). - Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Knowledge of AI in cybersecurity contexts. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement ML algorithms (classification, regression, anomaly detection). - Develop and evaluate models on large endpoint datasets. - Build and maintain scalable data pipelines. - Conduct exploratory data analysis and create visualizations. - Document research methodologies, results, and best practices. - Stay current on advances in AI/ML and endpoint protection. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python and libraries: PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn, NumPy, SciPy, pandas. - Experience handling large‑scale datasets. - Solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis. - Familiarity with anomaly detection and predictive modeling. - Knowledge of large language models or agentic AI (preferred). - Problem‑solving mindset and ability to present complex ideas clearly. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program (Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or equivalent). - Expected graduation Spring 2027 or Fall 2026. - Copy of current academic transcript (GPA ≥ 3.5).
