**Job Title**
Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for high‑availability, secure, and scalable services on AWS. Drive automation, observability, and reliability across Linux environments, containers, and multi‑region deployments.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end cloud infrastructure solutions ensuring scalability, security, and cost‑efficiency.
- Own CI/CD pipeline architecture and continuous delivery processes from development to production.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems, owning incident response and root‑cause analysis.
- Champion DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence across engineering teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS native services.
- Automate provisioning and environment management for dev, stage, and prod.
- Architect, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) for rapid, reliable releases.
- Implement Docker‑based containerization, image optimization, and secure deployment workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Linux and container workloads; ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to meet availability, performance, and operational standards.
- Participate in incident response, perform RCA, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote DevOps culture, observability, and automation across the organization.
**Required Skills**
- Expert proficiency in AWS Cloud services, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
- Strong scripting in Bash; proficiency in Golang.
- Deep knowledge of Linux OS fundamentals and Docker container technology.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional engineering teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
