Based in Birmingham, we recruit permanent and temporary staff across the Midlands for a full range of office support and executive roles starting at graduate entry through to executive level - including the following: PA/EA Secretarial Administration/ Office Assistant Reception/ Front of house Office Management Call Centre Assistant Graduate Customer Service We work with great people. Our clients range from blue chip multinationals to one man businesses; and candidates are fresh graduates to experienced executives. As part of Angela Mortimer Plc every year the group places circa 2,500 candidates in permanent roles and every day we have approximately 1,000 temporary staff on site. How do we do it? Perform due diligence for all placements: background checks, reference verification, qualification and employment history confirmation. 3. Collaborate with senior consultants, clients, and external assessors to complete verification activities efficiently. 5. Keep current knowledge of UK compliance, data privacy, and right‑to‑work legislation. 6. Refine internal processes to enhance candidate and client experience. Required Skills: - Experience in compliance, referencing, or due diligence within recruitment or professional services (e.g., law, finance). - Strong understanding of UK right‑to‑work legislation and employment compliance. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Proficient with compliance software and MS Office. **Job Title:** Executive Assistant to HR Director & HR Support **Role Summary:** Provide high‑level personal and operational support to the Group HR Director in a 12‑month fixed term contract. Manage complex scheduling, international travel, and senior board‑level events while delivering district HR administrative tasks. Act as a trusted business partner, handling confidential information, synthesising data, and coordinating cross‑functional projects. **Expectations:** - Deliver seamless executive support with priority focus on global coordination. - Communicate accurately on behalf of senior leadership. - Balance PA duties (60%) with HR administrative and project support (40%). - Protect the director’s time, confidentiality, and strategic goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Sophisticated multinational diary management; anticipate and resolve conflicts. - Arrange international travel: flights, visas, accommodation, detailed itineraries. - Execute first‑class visitor & hospitality management for C‑suite meetings. - Liaise professionally with Board members, NEDs, external stakeholders. - Lead end‑to‑end planning of quarterly Senior HR Forums (venue, contracts, delegate logistics, on‑day coordination). - Organise Colleague Forum meetings: agenda creation, minute taking. - Coordinate board‑level meetings with full IT/AV support. - Manage Non‑Executive Director engagement activities. - Produce polished board reports and executive presentations, consolidating complex data. - Conduct expense management, credit card reconciliations, sustainability reporting. - Provide cover assistance to CEO & CFO PAs during absences. - Administer employee lifecycle systems. - Support HR projects: employee relations administration, recruitment campaigns, benefits administration. - Manage HR inbox, resolve first‑line queries. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience at board level PA role. - Exceptional Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (reporting) & PowerPoint (executive‑level presentations). - Outstanding written communication; draft executive correspondence. - Strong event & meeting coordination skills (large‑scale meetings, conferences). - Experience arranging international travel. - Proficiency in stakeholder management and confidentiality. - Basic HR knowledge and experience in HR processes desirable. - Detail oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Business Administration, Human Resources, or related). - Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Executive Assistant, HR Administration) are a plus.
