**Job Title** Senior Business Development Manager (Architecture) **Role Summary** Drive business growth for a leading architectural practice in London and the South East by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and creating winning proposals. Lead strategy, coordinate with marketing and bids teams, and represent the firm at networking events. **Expactations** - Deliver measurable business development results that expand the firm's market presence. - Act as a frontline ambassador for the firm at industry events and client meetings. - Collaborate with leadership to set, monitor, and achieve development targets. - Provide timely market intelligence and contribute to strategic discussions. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals. - Prospect, qualify, and pursue new projects across London and the South East. - Attend and host networking events, building relationships with key contacts. - Work with marketing and bids teams to produce compelling, work-winning collateral. - Report progress and insights to leadership, informing strategy adjustments. **Required Skills** - Experience in business development within architecture or built‑environment sector. - Proven track record of winning work and delivering tangible results. - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to craft persuasive proposals. - Commercial acumen and results‑driven mindset. - Deep understanding of the bid development process. - Excellent collaboration, teamwork, and stakeholder management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business, or related field. - Preferred professional qualification (e.g., RIBA, ACCA, MBA) is a plus.
