Job Description
**Job Title:** Permanent - Production Engineer **Role Summary** Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications in production environments, ensuring operational quality, performance, and compliance. Collaborate with development, support, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement automated processes. **Expectations** - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. - Proven experience in production application deployment, DevOps practices, and system monitoring. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving technical incidents. - Familiarity with Linux/Windows systems, databases, and middleware. - Ability to document technical procedures and improve operational workflows. - Experience in continuous improvement and cross-functional project collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan, coordinate, and execute application deployments. - Monitor production systems for performance, alerting, and reporting. - Validate and test application deliverables pre-deployment. - Analyze incidents, implement corrective/preventative solutions, and document root causes. - Develop and update technical operational documentation. - Participate in incident and change management processes. - Contribute to cybersecurity and risk management practices. - Engage in technical meetings and cross-departmental projects. **Required Skills** - Application deployment and production environment management. - CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (scripts, automation). - Linux/Windows system administration. - Database and middleware management. - Incident analysis and root cause troubleshooting. - Technical documentation and communication. - IT security fundamentals. - Familiarity with public procurement codes (optional). **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of 3-year higher education (e.g., Bachelor’s) in computer science or related technical field. - No mandatory certifications, but relevant DevOps or IT infrastructure certifications preferred.
