**Job Title**
Schneider Automation Engineer (H/F)
**Role Summary**
The Schneider Automation Engineer designs, develops, and commissions industrial automation systems. Working with Schneider Electric solutions, you will program PLCs, create HMI/SCADA interfaces, and support field installation across diverse sectors such as renewable energy, water treatment, and industrial processes. The role encompasses the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning and ongoing support.
**Expectations**
- Lead the design and implementation of automation solutions on Schneider platforms.
- Deliver solutions that meet customer specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Operate autonomously, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Schneider products and industry best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, program, and update Schneider Electric PLCs (EcoStruxure Control Expert / Unity Pro) for M340, M580, and Modicon families.
2. Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA interfaces using Schneider tools (Vijeo Designer, Citect SCADA, AVEVA, EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert, Operator Terminal Expert).
3. Participate in on‑site commissioning and troubleshooting of automation deployments.
4. Analyze technical requirements and produce detailed documentation (design specifications, test plans, operation manuals).
5. Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for automation products and processes.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient programming of Schneider PLCs (M340, M580, Modicon) using EcoStruxure Control Expert or Unity Pro.
- Experience with Schneider HMI/SCADA software (Vijeo Designer, Citect SCADA, AVEVA, EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert, Operator Terminal Expert).
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS, etc.).
- Familiarity with SoMachine / EcoStruxure Machine Expert environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification or proven experience with Schneider EcoStruxure/Control Expert and Unity Pro is preferred.
