Job Title: AI Engineer Role Summary Responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-powered workflows that solve business problems. Works closely with product, data, and engineering teams to translate requirements into production-ready AI solutions, integrating large language models (LLMs) and related tools into existing processes. Expectations - Deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions that are production‑grade, maintainable, and scalable. - Translate business needs into technical AI designs. - Iterate on models and workflows based on user feedback, usage metrics, and performance data. - Proactively evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their fit for current and future use cases. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop and deploy AI workflows and models, focusing on production reliability. 2. Translate product and business requirements into functional AI specifications. 3. Analyze data to identify relevant AI use cases and design corresponding solutions. 4. Integrate LLM APIs for classification, summarization, extraction, and enrichment tasks. 5. Build dashboards or reports (e.g., Metabase, HubSpot) to monitor model performance and usage. 6. Support cross‑functional teams in adopting and effectively using AI tools. 7. Evaluate new AI tools and frameworks, providing pragmatic recommendations. 8. Collaborate with engineering feature teams to incorporate AI components into product releases. Required Skills - 12–18 months hands‑on experience deploying AI tools/workflows in production. - Practical experience with LLM APIs (classification, summarization, extraction, enrichment). - Knowledge of prompting techniques, context handling, and output validation. - SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation. - Experience building dashboards or reports (Metabase, HubSpot, or similar). - Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally. - Comfortable with rapid learning and iterative development. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field. - Certifications in AI/ML or relevant cloud platform services are a plus.
