**Job Title:** QA Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high‑quality software. Converts product concepts into incremental, customer‑value deliverables through agile practices, continuous integration, and robust quality assurance processes.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver defect‑free code and test artifacts that meet stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to refine product requirements and ensure timely, incremental releases.
- Maintain and evolve automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software components.
- Translate product concepts into project commitments, ensuring incremental value delivery.
- Implement unit tests, code reviews, and telemetry for continuous quality improvement.
- Manage database interactions using SQL on Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, serverless functions, and containerized services.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud environments (public/private).
- Provide clear technical communication to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- 4+ years coding experience in Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript; ability to learn new languages.
- 2+ years experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Strong understanding of unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile, and DevOps.
- Practical experience with continuous integration/delivery tools.
- Familiarity with REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, IaC, cloud services, application observability, or messaging/streaming.
- Effective communication with diverse audiences.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- (Optional) Relevant certifications in Agile/Scrum, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices.
