**Job Title:** Business Development Manager – France (Promotional Business) **Role Summary:** Lead the French market for Cartamundi’s promotional portfolio, driving revenue, margin, and growth through new business, customer expansion, and strategic market positioning. Own end‑to‑end account management, contact key brand partners across FMCG, QSR, and agency ecosystems, and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver profitable, value‑based proposals. **Expectations:** - Achieve annual sales targets and improve margin profile. - Independently analyze the market, identify opportunities, and design GTM plans that align with corporate strategy. - Build long‑term customer relationships, ensuring recurring revenue growth and client satisfaction. - Maintain rigorous financial discipline (DSO, collection targets). - Contribute to product & operations alignment to meet client and profitability goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Set, pursue, and close revenue goals for the promotional segment in France. - Conduct market intelligence: competitor mapping, customer needs assessment, and opportunity sizing. - Develop value‑driven proposals, pricing strategies, and GTM concepts for new and existing clients. - Build and execute strategic growth plans, including hunter‑style prospecting and account nurturing. - Foster strong partnerships with brands, FMCG players, QSR chains, agencies, and other stakeholders. - Synchronize with operations, product development, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless delivery. - Monitor accounts for profitability, forecast variations, and implement corrective actions. - Manage debtor relationships, ensuring collection targets and minimizing overdue balances. **Required Skills:** - Proven business‑development record (ideally 3–5 years) with a hunter orientation. - Strong analytical abilities and autonomous decision‑making. - Excellent written and verbal communication, persuasive storytelling. - Customer‑centric mindset with a focus on long‑term partnership value. - Results‑driven, self‑motivated, and adaptable in fast‑changing environments. - Creative problem‑solving and networking skills to build trust and access. - Team collaboration and cross‑functional influence. - Basic proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office; knowledge of French and English languages preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). - Any professional certification (e.g., B2B Sales, Account Management) is an advantage, not mandatory.
