**Job Title:**
DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Build, deploy, and maintain a secure, multi‑tenant, enterprise‑scale hosting infrastructure that supports critical healthcare applications. Leverage Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline operations and ensure high availability, security, and compliance across cloud, virtualization, and on‑prem resources.
**Expectations:**
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures governing confidentiality, integrity, and availability of hosting services.
- Provide 24/7 support, including first, second, and third shift coverage as required.
- Escalate and manage potential security incidents, supply incident data, and collaborate with security teams.
- Maintain strict compliance with applicable regulations and internal security standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Architecture & Design** – Design resilient, scalable hosting solutions for multi‑tenant environments using cloud, virtualization, and storage technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware).
2. **Infrastructure Automation** – Develop and maintain IaC scripts (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) to provision, update, and decommission resources efficiently.
3. **Operations & Monitoring** – Implement and tune monitoring, alerting, and logging for infrastructure health and performance; respond to incidents and root‑cause analyses.
4. **Security & Compliance** – Apply security controls, identity & access management, network segmentation, and encryption; conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate findings.
5. **Backup & Disaster Recovery** – Design and test backup, archiving, and disaster‑recovery procedures for critical services.
6. **Capacity Planning & Optimization** – Forecast resource needs, optimize cost and performance, and coordinate changes with stakeholders.
7. **Documentation & SOPs** – Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for operations and compliance audits.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience in DevOps, IaC, and cloud operations (AWS, Azure, or public cloud platforms).
- Strong scripting/programming abilities (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching), security fundamentals (firewalls, IAM, SSL/TLS).
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
- Monitoring and log‑analytics tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
- Incident response, troubleshooting, and rapid root‑cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent DevOps certifications) are preferred but not mandatory.
