Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Role Summary: Design, build, coordinate, and maintain a multi‑tenant enterprise‑scale hosting architecture, focusing on infrastructure engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and operational excellence. Collaborate across security, networking, DevOps, virtualization, and SAN/Backup domains to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of hosting services.
Expectations: Must work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift; relocate to U.S. market (reimbursed), provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., and be COVID‑19 vaccinated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and maintain cloud hosting solutions across high‑complexity, multi‑tenant environments.
- Develop and manage IaC pipelines and automation for rapid, repeatable deployments.
- Enforce security policies, perform incident response, and provide relevant information on potential security incidents.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of hosting services, monitoring performance and making continuous improvements.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Security, Network, DevOps, Windows, Virtualization) to meet service level agreements and compliance requirements.
- Participate in shift rotations and support incidents during all shifts.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in cloud infrastructure design (public, private, hybrid).
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN), network security concepts, and firewall configuration.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, etc.) and SAN/Backup technologies.
- DevOps practices: CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), monitoring, and alerting.
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents, enforce policies, and document findings.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- U.S. work eligibility without visa sponsorship required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+) preferred but not mandatory.
