Job Description
**Job title:** Infrastructure Engineer (SOC Level 2) **Role Summary:** Provide remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and Level‑2 support for a portfolio of Azure, VMware, Active Directory, O365, and associated infrastructure services. Maintain high‑availability environments, manage security components, and ensure compliance with licensing and SLA requirements. **Expectations:** - Deliver technically accurate, timely support for complex infrastructure issues. - Act as the knowledge authority for Level‑2 team, escalating appropriately. - Meet predefined SLA targets for ticket response, updates, and resolution. - Produce clear technical documentation and guides. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor and support Azure VMs, VMware hosts, and related workloads. - Troubleshoot and administer Active Directory (user accounts, group policies). - Manage O365 services, including MFA, conditional access, email, public folders, and SharePoint. - Oversee certificate lifecycle: issuance, renewal, revocation. - Ensure software license compliance and manage license allocations. - Maintain web servers, NetScaler load balancers, and NetScaler Gateways for optimal availability. - Provide Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop support; use Citrix Director for performance monitoring. - Administer Fortinet firewalls and implement Deep Security server protection. - Manage Mailmeter and other email security/archiving platforms. - Administer and troubleshoot Commvault backup and recovery solutions. - Execute change requests and configuration updates to sustain service availability. - Document procedures and create work instructions. - Escalate incidents promptly to higher support levels when necessary. **Required Skills:** - Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving expertise. - Exceptional communication and customer‑service skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency in remote monitoring tools and ticketing systems. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Proven experience as a Second‑Line Engineer or similar role. - In‑depth knowledge of O365, Exchange, Azure, and Active Directory. - Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administration certification (preferred). - Experience with Certificate and License Management. - Experience administering Fortinet firewalls, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and Deep Security. - Relevant Microsoft, Citrix, or Fortinet certifications are advantageous.
