Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer Internship
**Role Summary**
Assisted in building and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards for a media group, delivering high‑quality, automated data to stakeholders across subscriptions, audience, and product teams.
**Expectations**
- Complete a 6‑month internship starting February 2026.
- Work under the BI Manager, collaborating closely with data, marketing, and product teams.
- Actively participate in data collection, pipeline development, dashboard design, and stakeholder training.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the datamart project, retrieving key data (subscriptions, traffic, CRM) and ensuring reliable, automated availability.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Dagster on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain dashboards with Metabase, Amplitude, and other reporting tools.
- Facilitate workshops for requirement gathering, KPI tree creation, and specification writing.
- Deploy reporting tools to business units through training and educational materials.
- Support data interpretation, analysis, and quality assurance.
- Manage the analytics and media data collection stack: define requirements, support tagging and taxonomy, verify developer implementations, and produce knowledge documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; eager to learn additional data domains.
- Experience (or coursework) in data analytics, analytics engineering, data engineering, or digital marketing.
- Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, rigor, initiative, and resourcefulness.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration, cloud platforms (Google Cloud), and BI tools (Metabase, Amplitude).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (Bac + 4) in engineering, business, or computer science.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SQL, Python, GCP) are a plus but not mandatory.
