Job Description

**Job Title** Cloud Engineer – Hybrid (Azure) **Role Summary** Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure, lead IaC initiatives, and provide Tier 3 support to ensure secure, scalable, compliant cloud environments. **Expectations** * 4+ years of infrastructure engineering experience * Proficiency in Azure foundations, landing zones, and IaC tooling * Strong background in cloud networking, backup, AD/Entra ID, monitoring, and automation * Ability to deliver documentation, SOPs, and cross‑team training * Willingness to attend the office a few times per month **Key Responsibilities** * Configure and maintain Azure landing zones, VNet, NSG, Private Endpoints, and firewall rules * Develop and deploy infrastructure-as-code using Bicep, Terraform, and ARM templates * Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure incidents * Create and maintain SOPs, QRGs, and architectural documentation * Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions; enforce security best practices * Support capacity planning and configuration management activities * Participate in vendor and solution evaluations * Lead special projects and collaborate with business units and senior management **Required Skills** * Azure cloud architecture & landing zone design * IaC with Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates * Cloud networking (VNet, NSGs, Private Endpoints, firewall) * Experience with AI technologies (OpenAI, Gemini, AI Foundry) * Backup & recovery solutions, replication, cloud backup methodologies * Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, SAML/OpenID Connect, DNS/DHCP, encryption * Monitoring and automation tooling (Azure Monitor, PowerShell, Azure CLI) * Scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) * Documentation and SOP development **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree (preferred) * 4+ years relevant experience * ITIL Intermediate v3 (Service Transition, Planning, Repair, Service Operation, Operational Support, Analysis) * Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent MSCE) * VMware Certified Professional (VCP) * CompTIA Server+ / Storage+ (optional) * Certifications in network or storage administration (e.g., CCNP Data Center, EMC, HP ASE) – preferred
