Job title: Manager, Technical Delivery
Role Summary: Lead and scale a high‑performing Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) team, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery of complex AI/data projects while establishing operational best practices and continuous improvement.
Expectations: • 5+ years of technical delivery, operations, or program management experience. • 3+ years of people management, with a track record of building and scaling teams. • Strong technical foundation in data systems, analytics, AI/ML concepts; proficiency with SQL, Python, and data workflows preferred. • Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive cross‑functional collaboration. • Data‑driven mindset using metrics to monitor delivery health, team performance, and customer impact. • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee complex customer projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met. • Recruit, mentor, and develop TDMs, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. • Create and implement playbooks, processes, and risk‑management frameworks to standardize delivery excellence. • Partner with the Head of Delivery to align operational execution with strategic priorities. • Collaborate with research, engineering, product, and client teams to synchronize delivery activities with broader business goals. • Champion innovation and process optimization in delivery methodologies, tooling, and reporting. • Support TDMs in client interactions, scope definition, expectation management, and customer success. • Use analytics to track project health, surface improvement opportunities, and report insights to leadership.
Required Skills: • Program/Project management, including scope, timeline, budget, and risk oversight. • Technical knowledge of data pipelines, analytics, and AI/ML. • Leadership, coaching, team building, and talent development. • Stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration. • Business acumen: budgeting, trade‑off analysis, resource alignment. • Strong communication, storytelling, and visual data presentation. • Resilience, bias to action, and ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. • MBA or advanced degree preferred. • PMP, Prince2, or similar project‑management certification is a plus.
