Job Description
**Job Title** Application Manager (M/F) **Role Summary** Own end‑to‑end management of business applications, ensuring operability, user satisfaction, and alignment with project commitments. Act as the central technical bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, driving continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and timely delivery. **Expectations** * Deliver reliable, optimized applications that meet business and quality standards. * Lead projects from requirement definition to production, guaranteeing scope, schedule, and budget control. * Translate business needs into effective technical solutions and documentation. * Maintain high service levels, providing day‑to‑day user and production support. * Proactively forecast risks, propose mitigation, and keep stakeholders informed. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Guarantee application operability, configuration integrity, robustness, and performance. 2. Provide daily support for users and production environments. 3. Validate and approve solutions with project owners. 4. Plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases of application development and release. 5. Manage scope changes, resource constraints, and deadlines, ensuring alignment with client commitments. 6. Identify and propose alternatives for complex technical feasibility or integration obstacles. 7. Produce concise progress reports and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. 8. Continuously optimise methods, tooling, and processes, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality framework. 9. Conduct technological watch and propose innovations in tools and methodologies. 10. Facilitate the deployment, testing, and stabilization of production releases. **Required Skills** * Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query). * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric. * Expert in Business Objects and semantic/universal modeling. * Databases: Oracle, SQL Server with solid SQL expertise. * Technical–functional translation of business requirements into solutions. * Capable of writing detailed functional and technical specifications. * Familiarity with Python, Spark, and ETL processes (desired). * Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills in both French and English. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree (Bac +4) or Master’s (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar application management or business‑intelligence role. * Demonstrated experience delivering end‑to‑end solutions (design, development, configuration, implementation). ---
