Job Description
**Job title:** Infrastructure & Security Architect **Role Summary:** Lead the design, optimization, and secure operation of a mission‑critical, global infrastructure supporting thousands of users. Drive cloud transformation, performance tuning, and cyber‑security initiatives while ensuring uninterrupted 24/7 service availability and strategic architectural excellence. **Expectations:** - Deliver stable, high‑performance infrastructure for industrial workloads worldwide. - Own end‑to‑end security posture: data protection, compliance, access controls, and threat monitoring. - Provide continuous availability, incident response, and proactive improvement. - Mentor and collaborate across development, operations, and security teams. - Anticipate technological evolution and propose architecture enhancements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer Windows and Linux servers, remote desktop services, and virtualized environments (Hyper‑V, Docker). - Design and implement VLAN, firewall, VPN, and identity‑management solutions. - Automate deployment pipelines and modernise infrastructure for cloud migration. - Configure and maintain monitoring/supervision tools (e.g., Pandora or equivalent). - Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and reliability testing. - Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous‑improvement initiatives. - Prepare technical documentation, security questionnaires, and compliance reports. - Evaluate emerging technologies and propose architecture roadmap updates. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 5 years of experience in system/network infrastructure and virtualization. - Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, RDS, Hyper‑V, Docker, VLAN, PowerShell, Bash. - Strong cyber‑security knowledge: firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, identity and access management, compliance frameworks. - Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions (e.g., Pandora, Nagios, Zabbix). - Ability to operate in high‑availability, mission‑critical environments. - Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. - Autonomy, decision‑making, teamwork, clear communication, continuous learning mindset, positive influence. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred.
