Job Description: **Job Title:** Software Engineering Intern **Role Summary:** Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support operational and customer-facing systems. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality features for web, mobile, and internal tools, while learning best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps. **Expectations:** * Rapid integration into development cycles. * Produce production‑ready code, unit tests, and documentation. * Participate fully in code reviews and troubleshooting. * Meet project milestones within agreed timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement features for front‑end and back‑end platforms using Ruby on Rails, Angular, Go, and PostgreSQL. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions. - Write unit and integration tests; review peers’ code to uphold quality standards. - Debug and resolve defects in development and production environments. - Contribute to technical discussions, architecture reviews, and planning sessions. - Document system behavior, API contracts, and usage guidelines for internal teams. **Required Skills:** - 0–2 years of professional software development experience. - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals. - Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative workflows. - Experience writing clean, maintainable code in at least one of Ruby, Go, or JavaScript. - Ability to develop both front‑end and back‑end components. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self‑motivation, high performance orientation, and strong problem‑solving abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a 4‑year Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ---
