Job Description
Job Title: Associate DevOps Engineer Cloud Platforms Role Summary: Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC and DevOps practices for a large‑scale enterprise environment. Expectations: - Full‑stack AWS platform engineering with CI/CD, security, and lifecycle management. - Collaboration with development, operations, and third‑party SaaS partners. - Continuous improvement of infrastructure, automation, and operational processes. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prioritize, and architect cloud solutions aligned with business needs. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity). - Write and maintain IaC (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) across AWS services. - Automate deployments and routine tasks via Bash, PowerShell, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt). - Manage Linux servers, networking (IP, VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewalls), and container services (ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes). - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system/application issues; maintain documentation and user guides. - Participate in on‑call rotations (early mornings, evenings, weekends). Required Skills: - 3‑4 years system administration, 1‑3 years DevOps in enterprise. - Strong Linux administration, Bash, PowerShell. - Experience with AWS services, CI/CD, and IaC (CloudFormation/ CDK/Terraform). - Familiarity with Python, networking, container orchestration, and DevOps tooling. - Communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s in Information Systems/Management or equivalent. - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred. - AWS DevOps Engineer professional certification required (or equivalent experience, with plan to certify within 12‑18 months).
