Job Description
Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Role Summary: Enable Sales & Marketing teams to operate efficiently by translating business needs into actionable system improvements. Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology solutions, driving data integrity, process optimization, and agile delivery. Expactations: Deliver clear requirements, configure CRM and marketing platforms, manage data governance, create insightful dashboards, and support change management, ensuring solutions are scalable, user‑friendly, and aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead discovery workshops with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to document current workflows and identify improvement opportunities. • Translate business requirements into system updates, new automations, and process redesigns; prioritize backlogs and define acceptance criteria. • Mentor junior analysts on analysis techniques, stakeholder engagement, and Agile practices. • Own configuration and ongoing care of Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, CPQ, and related ecosystems; administer workflows, validation rules, and user roles. • Drive data quality initiatives—eliminate duplicates, enforce consistency, and define data standards for reporting and integration. • Design and maintain dashboards (Power BI, CRM analytics) to provide actionable insights for leadership. • Collaborate with IT and integration teams to troubleshoot data flows, validate integrations, and shape architecture decisions. • Facilitate change management activities: communication, training, and user adoption support. Required Skills: • Business analysis, process mapping, and requirements documentation. • Agile facilitation, user story creation, backlog grooming, sprint review moderation. • CRM configuration (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and CPQ management. • Data governance, quality assessment, and integration knowledge. • Dashboard creation and data storytelling for non‑technical audiences. • Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and mentorship. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field. • PMP and/or Agile credentials (Scrum Master, PMI‑ACP). • Prefer Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification; HubSpot Operations certification preferred.
