Job Description
Job title: Business Development Manager Role Summary: Commercially driven strategist responsible for sourcing and engaging high‑potential B2B SaaS and tech companies, conducting consultative outreach, and nurturing relationships with founders and senior executives to drive growth opportunities. Expactations: - Identify and qualify target market segments and individual prospects. - Deliver a structured outreach campaign that achieves qualified leads and conversion objectives. - Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast within CRM. - Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging and prioritize opportunities. - Provide feedback to shape product and market positioning. Key Responsibilities: - Research industry sectors and evaluate target companies for strategic fit. - Execute outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to founders, CEOs and CFOs. - Conduct consultative conversations to understand prospects’ growth needs and market positioning. - Manage and update pipeline, scoring, and forecasting activities in a CRM system. - Partner with senior leadership to refine outreach tactics and messaging. - Attend industry events and client meetings to strengthen brand presence and secure new deals. Required Skills: - Proven experience in outbound B2B SaaS or finance business development. - Strong grasp of commercial and financial drivers in tech ecosystems. - Excellent communication, storytelling and influence skills for engaging C‑level executives. - Analytical mindset with ability to conduct target‑market research and data‑driven insights. - Highly organized, disciplined follow‑up and robust CRM stewardship. - Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or equivalent. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
