Job Description
**Job Title** After‑Sales Automation Engineer (M/F) **Role Summary** Design, program, test, and commission industrial automation systems for customer projects. Support service desk and warranty issues, provide operator training, and contribute to new service offering development while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate automation studies for new orders. - Program PLCs and configure electronic components. - Conduct laboratory and field testing and commissioning. - Train operators and resolve warranty‑related incidents. - Maintain adherence to customer constraints, regulations, and industry best practices. - Coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring consistent programming standards. - Travel up to 40 % of the time within the national territory. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare detailed automation designs, including PLC code (LADDER/LIST/C), HMI, and network configuration. - Configure sensors, actuators, weighing modules, Wi‑Fi antennas, variable frequency drives, and modules as required. - Perform and supervise automation tests in the shop for cabinets and enclosures. - Execute on‑site start‑up tests and validate system performance. - Provide technical and commercial follow‑up of warranty claim dossiers. - Participate in the company hotline and assist in new service‑offering development. - Ensure compliance with EN 13849, NF C 15‑100, and cyber‑security best practices. - Train and support line operators on system operation. - Manage documentation, including test reports and user manuals. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of experience in industrial automation tasks. - Proficient with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC Flexible/Advanced, and StartDrive. - Skilled in PLC programming (LADDER, LIST, C) and HMI development. - Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. - Strong knowledge of network components, Wi‑Fi, and basic cyber‑security principles. - Proficient with Microsoft Office; competence in documentation and reporting. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities. - Valid Siemens Safety certification; familiarity with safety‑related programming. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor‑level degree (B.Sc./Diploma) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field. - Siemens Safety qualification and familiarity with EN 13849, NF C 15‑100 standards.
