**Job Title:** Renewable Energy & Storage Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the technical design, analysis, and execution of solar, wind, and battery storage projects in France, Ireland, and Africa. Provide engineering solutions from feasibility to construction hand‑over, support permitting, grid integration, procurement, and financing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver cost‑effective, technically sound solutions for renewable generation and storage projects.
- Anticipate and mitigate technical risks across all project phases.
- Coordinate with development, financial, legal, and grid operator teams to secure permits, financing, and construction approvals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design detailed and summary projects for wind, solar, BESS, and STEP, including sizing, metering, and cost estimates.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies, data analysis of wind/solar meteorological files, and internal production estimations.
- Manage permitting process: define technical specifications, support tender documents, and liaise with grid operators for connection studies.
- Oversee post‑permit activities: prepare financing dossiers, manage construction consultations, and ensure project hand‑over compliance.
- Define and justify high‑/medium‑/low‑voltage electrical architecture, oversee grid connection procedures, and supervise utility coordination.
- Draft and respond to tender and AMI requests, prepare construction bids, and evaluate supplier proposals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of renewable technologies, standards, and market trends.
- Document all technical decisions, generate reports, and support decision‑making for senior management.
**Required Skills:**
- Mastery of electrical engineering at HTB/HTA/BT levels.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, QGIS, PVsyst, WindPro, Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience creating macros/automated tools is a plus.
- Supplier and contract management, including lead time, quotes, and invoicing.
- In‑depth technical knowledge of wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems, including project valuation methods for BESS.
- Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and connection studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.
- Organizational, analytical, and autonomous working style; team‑oriented, proactive, adaptable.
- English proficiency at B2–C1 level.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Minimum Master’s level (Bac +5) in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar engineering role within renewable energy or grid engineering.
