Job Description

Job title: Data Scientist Role Summary: Analyze and model large data sets to inform strategic decisions and product enhancements. Build dashboards, predictive models, and experiment frameworks to quantify impact and optimize business processes. Expactations: * Deliver actionable insights to cross‑functional stakeholders. * Drive data‑driven decision making through clear visualizations and reports. * Maintain model performance and relevance over time. * Keep current with emerging data science methodologies and tools. Key Responsibilities: * Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and semi‑structured data. * Conduct statistical analysis and develop predictive models (regression, tree‑based, etc.) to support business outcomes. * Build and maintain interactive dashboards and standard reports using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. * Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate product or process changes. * Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand data needs and define metrics. * Continuously improve data pipelines and analytical workflows. * Document methods, assumptions, and results for reproducibility. * Stay updated on best practices in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies. Required Skills: * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling. * Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). * Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms (regression, decision trees, ensemble methods). * Ability to build and deploy predictive models and evaluate their performance. * Familiarity with experiment design and A/B testing methodologies. * Excellent communication skills – explain complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders. * Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. * Preferred: experience with big data platforms (Redshift, Hadoop, Spark, DBT), AWS, and cryptocurrency/blockchain concepts. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. * Master’s degree is a plus. * No specific certifications required, but knowledge of relevant data science certifications (e.g., SAS, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) is beneficial.
