Job Description
**Job title** Lead Salesforce Engineer **Role Summary** Lead technical design, development, and delivery of Salesforce-based digital experiences (websites and mobile apps) for Safelite. Provide engineering leadership, set technical standards, oversee integrations, and mentor team members across multiple squads. **Expactations** - Deliver high‑quality Salesforce solutions that meet business and technology goals. - Drive product strategy and architecture across cross‑team initiatives. - Maintain security, compliance, and performance best practices. - Influence and mentor engineering peers while ensuring alignment with IT leadership and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead Salesforce engineering activities: design, coding, integration, and deployment. - Estimate project scope, provide technical direction, and influence project decisions. - Conduct JAD sessions (Three Amigos) and produce functional and technical specifications. - Collaborate with Product Owner, UX, and business stakeholders to plan feature enhancements. - Review code, approve pull requests, coach team members on patterns and quality. - Coordinate release management, configuration control, and license/permission management. - Partner with IT Leadership and other senior engineers to improve architecture and processes. - Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and business standards. **Required Skills** - 7–9 years of Salesforce integration experience, including API, data migration, and multi‑cloud integration. - Deep knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and other Salesforce clouds; cross‑cloud experience preferred. - Experience in configuration management, release coordination, and licensing/permission control. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑driven mindset. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities. - Proficiency with Jira and agile development practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Platform Developer II, or Service Cloud Consultant) highly preferred.
