**Job Title**
General Services Manager – Retail & Head Office (Full‑time)
**Role Summary**
Oversee the operational, technical, and regulatory excellence of all Christofle retail stores and head office in the EMEA region. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, accessibility, and environmental standards while managing maintenance, budget, and provider relationships to deliver a flawless commercial environment.
**Expectations**
- Maintain superior service quality across all sites, meeting internal standards and legal requirements.
- Deliver on budget, cost‑control targets, and SLA performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between stores, corporate departments, and external vendors.
- Communicate clearly with operational staff, management, and stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead corrective and preventive maintenance for stores, concessions, and head office.
- Manage relationships with external maintenance providers, monitoring quality, responsiveness, and SLA compliance.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, fire‑safety, HVAC, and other technical systems.
- Plan, track, and document all technical interventions.
- Implement and monitor safety, hygiene, accessibility, and environmental compliance procedures.
- Partner with HSE, HR, RSE, Legal, and Finance to secure site-wide compliance.
- Control budgeting, monitor costs, analyze variances, and propose optimisations.
- Oversee procurement processes and contract administration.
- Support retail teams with site issues, renovations, openings, and incident resolution.
- Maintain consistency of store design and operations with brand architecture and standards.
**Required Skills**
- Strong technical knowledge: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC/CVC.
- Familiarity with safety, HSE, and regulatory standards.
- Experience managing third‑party maintenance services and SLAs.
- Budgeting, cost control, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking tools (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role (retail, hospitality, or commercial property maintenance).
- Relevant technical certifications or proven competence in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry (desirable).
