Job Description: **Job Title** Category Manager – Home Goods **Role Summary** Drive sales and profitability for multiple product families within a retail purchasing & marketing function. Manage supplier relationships, develop product assortment, and collaborate with store teams to optimize in‑store performance. **Expectations** - Increase category revenue and store margin. - Deliver annual category KPIs aligned to budget. - Maintain strong supplier partnership and cost competitiveness. **Key Responsibilities** - Define product mix for sourced suppliers and central purchases, based on trend, competitive, and customer analysis. - Negotiate annual contracts, commercial operations, and OEM bids; set minimum order quantities and other terms. - Plan and execute in‑store activations: new product launches, price adjustments, private sales, clearance, promotions, and visual merchandising. - Serve as primary liaison with store managers, carry out regular visits, support store openings and concept developments. - Establish yearly goals for each product family and report on performance to the division head. **Required Skills** - Advanced negotiation techniques and supplier management. - Strong relationship building and communication skills. - Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize market and sales data. - Proactive, self‑motivated, and collaborative. - Proficiency in English (written and verbal). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of category management or purchasing experience in a retail environment.
