**Job Title:** Duty Manager **Role Summary:** Oversee daily restaurant/hospitality operations during shifts, leading and coaching team members to meet performance targets while maintaining brand standards, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. **Expections:** - Deliver consistent, high‑quality service and operational performance. - Support on‑duty manager in leadership, decision‑making, and aligning team effort with business goals. - Uphold health & safety, property care, and profit objectives within a fast‑paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Direct and inspire shift team members in all departments (restaurant, kitchen, bar). - Assist the Manager on Duty with scheduling, staff management, and operational oversight. - Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and property maintenance. - Drive sales, guest experience, and profitability through effective team coordination. - Resolve operational issues swiftly and communicate solutions to staff and management. **Required Skills:** - Proven leadership and team‑coaching experience in a hospitality or retail setting. - Strong problem‑solving and quick‑thinking abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to motivate staff and foster a people‑first, guest‑obsessed culture. - Operational knowledge of restaurant, kitchen, or bar functions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High‑school diploma or equivalent. - Experience in a similar duty/shift leadership role preferred. - Hospitality qualifications (e.g., NVQ, Level 3 Diploma) are an advantage, but not mandatory.
