Job Description
**Job Title:** Event Manager – Venues **Role Summary:** Lead the full-cycle planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of corporate and live events within a venue context. Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and compliant with health and safety standards. **Expectations:** - Execute a range of event types (VIP gatherings, conferences, awards ceremonies, gala dinners) at varying scales. - Demonstrate proven financial management, risk assessment, and client‑facing communication skills. - Deliver high‑quality events across multiple venues in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets. - Coordinate internal teams and external contractors, ensuring clear communication and role assignment. - Conduct health and safety risk assessments and secure necessary approvals. - Oversee on‑site event execution, troubleshooting issues in real time. - Maintain accurate project documentation, post‑event reports, and financial reconciliation. **Required Skills:** - Experienced event planning and project management. - Strong budgeting and financial control capabilities. - Health and safety compliance knowledge. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Multi‑tasking, organisational, and problem‑solving aptitude. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree or equivalent in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred. - Professional certifications (e.g., CIM, ACCA, Health & Safety qualification) are advantageous.
