Job Description: **Job Title:** Food Production Site Manager (Agri‑Food) **Role Summary** Manage a small agricultural production site, overseeing crop production, financial planning, and a 10‑person team to deliver high‑quality products on schedule while maintaining cost control and regulatory compliance. **Expectations** - Deliver production targets and financial performance within defined budgets. - Demonstrate autonomous, results‑oriented leadership and continuous improvement mindset. - Uphold safety, food‑chain integrity, and environmental standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Plan, monitor, and adjust crop schedules to meet cost, time, and quality objectives. - Optimize plant performance through Lean practices, identifying and correcting operational deviations. - Develop medium‑term master plans covering organization, technology, quality, and productivity. - Prepare, track, and control operating and investment budgets. - Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of 10 employees. - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, food‑safety, and environmental regulations. - Coordinate with agricultural cooperatives and suppliers (e.g., compost). - Identify and propose innovative cultivation solutions to enhance yield and sustainability. **Required Skills** - Proven managerial experience in agricultural or agri‑food production. - Strong understanding of crop production processes and agronomic principles. - Budgeting and financial analysis skills. - Lean/Kaizen implementation and continuous‑improvement expertise. - Effective communication and team‑development abilities. - Knowledge of food‑safety standards (GMP, HACCP) and environmental regulations. - Problem‑solving, decision‑making, and autonomous working style. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or related field. - Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, HACCP, or equivalent food‑safety management preferred.
