Job Description
**Job Title** Construction Study & Works Coordinator (Architect/Engineer) **Role Summary** Coordinate and oversee construction projects from technical planning through execution, ensuring schedules, quality, safety, and financial targets are met. Manage internal execution teams and subcontractors, maintain stakeholder relationships, and guarantee compliance with applicable building standards and contractual obligations. **Expectations** - Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. - Ensure all works comply with relevant codes (e.g., DTU) and industry best practices. - Maintain clear communication with clients, design engineers, owners, and contractors. - Drive proactive problem‑solving and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and update weekly construction schedules and progress reports. - Lead internal execution teams and coordinate subcontractors on site. - Develop execution tools (phasing plans, operating procedures) from technical dossiers. - Initiate and manage subcontractor tendering processes. - Facilitate and participate in on‑site coordination meetings. - Liaise with clients, design consultants, project owners, and contractors. - Monitor and control production resources throughout the build. - Perform conformity checks against DTU standards and industry norms. - Review and certify work progress and payment situations. - Manage financial and contractual aspects of each work lot. - Organize and lead Operational Pre‑Start Reviews (OPR). - Track and resolve punch‑list items; coordinate reserve clearance. - Arrange final acceptance and hand‑over of completed works. **Required Skills** - Strong project planning and scheduling (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). - Team leadership and subcontractor coordination. - Knowledge of construction codes and standards (DTU or equivalent). - Budgeting, cost control, and contract administration. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to conduct technical compliance inspections. - Proficiency in construction documentation and reporting. - Problem‑solving and decision‑making under pressure. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Professional engineering or architectural license (optional but preferred). - Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) desirable.
