Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Manager Role Summary: Drive end‑to‑end enterprise sales of a SaaS RegTech platform, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Collaborate with founders, product, and marketing to shape go‑to‑market strategy and establish a high‑growth revenue pipeline. Expactations: • Deliver and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota. • Consistently acquire strategic accounts with annual contract values of £50k–£250k. • Act as a trusted advisor to C‑level stakeholders in regulated industries, maintaining strong relationships across compliance, risk, and legal functions. Key Responsibilities: • Prospect, qualify, and negotiate new enterprise opportunities in banking, legal, gaming, and investigations sectors. • Lead consultative, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, presenting tailored solutions and value propositions. • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. • Represent the company at industry events and forums, positioning the platform as a market leader. • Partner with founders, product, and marketing to refine pricing, positioning, and sales processes. • Provide market intelligence and feedback to influence product roadmap and GTM initiatives. Required Skills: • 5+ years of B2B SaaS enterprise sales experience with proven quota‑exceeding track record. • Experience selling into financial services, law firms, or other regulated sectors. • Expertise in long‑cycle, consultative selling and navigating complex stakeholder environments. • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Strategic thinker, data‑driven decision maker, and self‑starter in fast‑paced, early‑stage settings. • Bonus: Knowledge of AML/KYC, RegTech or AI, and experience in scale‑up startups. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field. • Relevant sales or industry certifications (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or regulatory compliance credentials) are a plus.
