Job Title: Applications Development Intern Role Summary: Entry‑level intern responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining .NET applications. Works in an agile team to deliver business solutions, focusing on C#, .NET Framework/Core, SQL Server, and object‑oriented design. Expectations: Pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least one year completed and two years remaining. Must be U.S. citizen, able to obtain DOE Q and NRC U clearance. Demonstrate self‑direction, teamwork, strong communication, and a passion for problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework / .NET Core. - Follow specifications and design documents; ensure code is functional, secure, and compliant. - Participate in requirements gathering, test plan creation, and documentation. - Coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders. - Perform code reviews, version control, and contribute to continuous improvement processes. Required Skills: - Object‑oriented programming (C#). - Familiarity with ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core. - SQL Server knowledge and relational database design. - Analytical, detail‑oriented, and time‑management capabilities. - Effective written and oral communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of an agile team.
