Job Description
**Job title:** Customer Service Specialist **Role Summary:** Provide front‑line support to Teranet Manitoba clients via counter, phone, and email. Process land title and personal property registration requests, ensure regulatory compliance, reconcile daily financial transactions, manage document services, and maintain service level agreements. **Expectations:** - **Experience:** 1–2 years in customer service or administrative roles. - **Education:** High‑school diploma or equivalent. - **Key Traits:** Strong initiative, sound judgment, adaptability to ambiguity, team player, respect‑based communication. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist clients with counter, phone, and email inquiries for land title documents, personal property registry, and related services. - Process survivorship, address, and name change registrations; verify Builder’s Liens before daily closing. - Set up new firms and resolve account inquiries. - Validate personal property registration data; advise on required additional information. - Accurately transcribe registrations into the online system and handle Personal Property user ID requests, including clarifications and rejections with clear communication. - Maintain SLA standards, record daily client interactions, and generate reporting statistics. - Reconcile daily transactions on assigned terminals, perform PCI compliance payments, deposits, and cash‑out procedures. - Investigate historical/service requests, fulfill using microfilm and record services, endorse paper titles for survey books, upload documents, and retrieve records from the Government Records Centre. - Record Document Services Team (DST) service details for each fulfilled request. - Manage deliveries, supply orders, interdepartmental mail, and coordinate with regional service personnel. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support operational projects as needed. **Required Skills:** - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems. - Knowledge of relevant legislation and daily financial transaction reconciliation. - Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, superior customer service orientation. - Ability to analyze issues, gather information, and make sound decisions. - Attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping. - Bilingual (English and French) is an asset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High‑school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of 1–2 years of customer service and/or administrative experience.
