Job Description
**Job Title:** Lead Security Administrator **Role Summary:** Technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security platforms in a hybrid cloud environment. Oversees security operations, aligns strategies with business goals, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Drives innovation in cybersecurity practices and leads cross-functional teams to enhance organizational protection. **Expectations:** - Minimum 2 years in a security leadership role. - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven ability to lead security teams and manage 24x7 production environments. - Demonstrated experience with Splunk Core/Splunk Enterprise Security, incident response, and hybrid cloud operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical direction, mentorship, and best-practice leadership for security teams. - Design, document, and maintain secure infrastructure aligned with modern cloud solutions. - Drive compliance with HIPAA, PCI, SOX, and HiTrust standards. - Manage third-party vendor engagements and coordinate with scrum teams, engineers, and architects. - Implement threat detection, response, and mitigation strategies. - Optimize security tools (e.g., Cortex, CyberArk) and monitor operational metrics for continuous improvement. **Required Skills:** - Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat analysis, and incident management. - Proficiency in Splunk Core/Splunk Enterprise Security and CyberArk platform. - Experience with NTLM/Kerberos authentication, network/security protocols, and cloud platforms. - Strong Agile methodology and project management capabilities. - Documentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering. - Certifications in Splunk Enterprise Security, CyberArk, or equivalent security credentials. - Preferred: Experience in healthcare or regulated industries (e.g., HiTrust).
