Job Description: Job Title: Sr. Systems Administrator (Security Clearance Required) Role Summary: Senior-level systems administration role focused on managing enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Active Directory environments, with a critical emphasis on vSphere 7-to-8 migration and DoD cybersecurity compliance. Expactations: Candidate must possess active Secret clearance (or higher). Requires demonstrated expertise in Windows/Linux system administration, VMware management, and IT infrastructure maintenance, with a proven ability to execute complex migrations and ensure compliance with defense sector standards. Key Responsibilities: - Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring system stability and performance. - Oversee Active Directory operations (user accounts, group policies, domain services). - Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, and network services. - Manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, virtual machines) and execute vSphere 7-to-8 migration. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security patches per DoD policies. - Perform system backup/disaster recovery procedures and document operational processes. - Delivered Tier III technical support for critical infrastructure incidents and service requests. - Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to maintain secure, compliant systems. Required Skills: - Active Directory administration, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP. - VMware vSphere 7/8 (migration, virtualization). - Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration. - System patching, security hardening, compliance adherence. - Disaster recovery planning and restoration execution. - IT documentation and architecture diagram maintenance. - DoD/JPRA cybersecurity and clearance policy expertise.
