Integration Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise ETL pipelines using SSIS, Python, and SQL across SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud data warehouses. Provides Level 2/3 support, monitors scheduled jobs, troubleshoots performance bottlenecks, and ensures data quality and governance. Collaborates closely with business users and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Maintain rigorous coding standards, conduct code reviews, and document designs.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve data architecture and processes, adopting best practices for security, scaling, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 support for existing ETL processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize scheduled ETL jobs.
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages, Python scripts, and SQL Server/Oracle queries, including stored procedures.
- Reverse‑engineer legacy ETL workflows and propose enhancements.
- Build and optimize data pipelines ingesting structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data.
- Enforce data management, security, and governance standards.
- Perform code reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
- Integrate scheduling/orchestration tools (e.g., Tidal, Airflow).
- Deploy and maintain pipelines on cloud platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks PySpark.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years SSIS development experience.
- Minimum 5 years Python programming experience.
- Minimum 5 years SQL Server ETL development for large datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing, stored procedures, and optimization.
- Experience with enterprise schedulers (Tidal, Airflow) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks).
- Knowledge of OLTP, dimensional modeling, facts, and dimensions.
- Familiarity with message‑based architectures and cloud analytics.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (minimum).
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications in SQL Server, SSIS, or cloud data platforms are advantageous.
