Job Description
**Job Title:** Project Manager II (T&D) **Role Summary** Oversee electrical construction projects (transmission, distribution, substation, and clean energy) with responsibility for scheduling, cost estimation, client coordination, and daily operations. **Expectations** Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and estimating within the electrical industry, with preference for transmission/distribution expertise. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare construction schedules, cost estimates (labor/material), and progress reports (weekly/monthly). - Manage daily project operations, coordinate meetings, and address client deliverables. - Monitor job costs vs. budgets, track constructability requirements, and ensure compliance with specifications. - Conduct field evaluations, assist with change orders, and prepare bills of material for purchasing. - Collaborate with stakeholders (clients, subcontractors) on field walk-downs and estimate reviews. **Required Skills** - Proficient in estimating software (Accubid, etc.), Microsoft Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office. - Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, architectural plans, and specifications. - Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. - Self-driven with capacity to multitask independently under deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of education and experience considered. No specific certifications required.
